ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Physics at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib offers quality education to its post graduate and under graduate students. We have highly qualified and experienced faculty who teach physics to Undergraduate and Post graduate physics students. The moderate size of our department allows our faculty to interact with the students in order to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. Our students have given excellent performance under the guidance of highly qualified faculty that is often difficult to achieve in other institutions.

As one of the leading colleges in the region, our mission is to serve the people in this area as well as those from the state through our intensive education, research and outreach. The department engages in cutting-edge research in a variety of fields such as;Nanotechnology, Material Science, Radiation Physics and has made a great contribution through Research and Education. We welcome any student who want to study in the department.
